Broadway performers have been announced for Music for Medwish, a fundraising event to be presented by MedWish International on April 15 at 8pm at Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Angeles. Produced by Broadway actress and producer Betsy Werbel (Wicked), the event raises funds for MedWish, a not-for-profit organization that repurposes discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid around the world, saving lives — and the environment.

The event will feature alumni of the Broadway and national touring companies of Dreamgirls, Les Misérables, Wicked, The King and I, Something Rotten!, It Shoulda Been You, Bright Star, and If/Then, with performances by Sheryl Lee Ralph, Carmen Cusack, Deedee Magno Hall, Renee Lawless, Jessica Snow Wilson, Adam Hunter, Rena Strober, Ashley Fox Linton, Kevin Odekirk, Kate Pazakis, Josh Grisetti, Kevin McMahon, Julie Cardia, and Betsy Werbel.

Since its inception, MedWish has served 109 countries and diverts an average of 500,000 pounds of medical surplus from local landfills every year. It also serves as a training site for individuals with special needs through its Skill Building Program, which provides participants opportunities to grow, learn, and engage with MedWish's mission.
