Creation Production Company is set to present the world premiere of co-artistic director Susan Mosakowski’s Escape, June 7-24 at La MaMa’s First Floor Theatre. Gaye Taylor Upchurch will direct.
Escape threads together three stories playing out onstage at the same time. Each one revolves around two characters and a different quest for liberation.
The cast features Ted Schneider (Gus), Susan Louise O’Connor (Lily), John Sharian (Daddy), Lauren Fortgang (Marilyn), Carlo Albán (Harry Houdini III), and Amelia Workman (Bess).
The design team will include Lauren Helpern (set design) and Sarah J. Holden (costume design).
