Broadway’s The Lyons to Close on July 1

The Lyons will play its final performance at the Cort Theatre on Sunday, July 1, after having played 80 performances and 21 previews. The production is directed by Mark Brokaw.


The play
stars 2012 Best Actress Tony nominee Linda Lavin as Rita Lyons, the indomitable matriarch of a family at a major crossroads: her husband is dying, her son’s in a dubious relationship, her daughter’s struggling to stay sober and on top of it all, she can’t settle on a new design for the living room.

The cast also includes Dick Latessa, Charlie Hofheimer, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell.
