The cast of Netflix's highly anticipated revival of Amy Sherman-Palladino's Gilmore Girls will feature two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, according to published reports. Foster is the show's first announced cast member who did not star in the original series.

Foster currently leads the cast of the comedy series Younger on TV Land. She previously starred in Sherman-Palladino's ABC Family series Bunheads, which lasted for one season. Last seen on the New York stage this past July in the Encores! production of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party at New York City Center, Foster earned Tony Awards for her performances in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Anything Goes.

It has also been announced that former Gilmore Girls cast members Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, and Yanic Truesdale will reprise their roles in Netflix's four-episode continuation of the series.
