BroadwayCon Announces Disney Theatrical at 25: The Stars Align Panel

Disney Theatrical Productions will host the panel Disney Theatrical at 25: The Stars Align at this year's BroadwayCon in celebration of the group's 25 years of play and musical production. Thomas Schumacher, head of Disney Theatrical Productions, will moderate the panel which is set to include Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher), Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Merle Dandridge (Tarzan), Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast), James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), and Patti Murin (Frozen).

A division of the Walt Disney Studios, Disney Theatrical Productions was formed in 1994. Worldwide, its 10 Broadway titles have been seen by over 160 million theatergoers and have been nominated for 62 Tony awards and won 20.

BroadwayCon is theater's answer to Comic Con, tailor-made for fans. BroadwayCon 2019 will feature panels, performances, interviews, workshops, sing-alongs, and more, all packed into an epic three-day weekend. It will take place January 11-13 at the New York Hilton Midtown.
