BroadwayCon 2018 Announces Lineup for BroadwayCon Industry Day

BroadwayCon 2018 has announced the schedule for BroadwayCon Industry Day, a one-day conference for theater professionals, featuring panels and discussions exploring new and innovative ways to engage with Broadway’s biggest fans. Curated by Situation, BroadwayCon Industry Day will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan.

Panels will feature discussions on the following topics: "Who Is the Broadway Fan Anyway?"; "The Future of Broadway Fan Engagement"; "Technology & the Fan Relationship"; "Dear Evan Hansen: A Fan Favorite"; "Fans & Creatives"; "The Birth of the Fan"; "Legacy: What Sports Can Teach Us"; "Audiences in Our Own Backyard"; and "Leadership Required to Navigate Change."

Participants include Latin History for Morons star John Leguizamo, Show-Score cofounder Deeksha Gaur, Dear Evan Hansen producer Stacey Mindich, Washington Post theater critic Peter Marks, and Tony-winning producer Robyn Goodman, among others. Additional speakers will be announced at a later date.

BroadwayCon — a three-day weekend of Broadway panels, performances, interviews, and workshops — returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center January 26-28, 2018.
