Jenny Bacon, Gary Cole, Betty Gilpin, Julianne Nicholson, and Lois Smith will star in Signature Theatre’s world premiere production of Heartless, written by Sam Shepard. Daniel Aukin will direct the production, which performs at the Pershing Square Signature Center, August 7-September 16, with an opening on August 27.
In the play, Sally lives with her mysterious family in a cavernous home overlooking Los Angeles. When a visitor arrives, Sally’s dark secrets – and the secrets of those around her – threaten to come into the light.
The design team will include Eugene Lee (scenic designer), Kaye Voyce (costume designer), Tyler Micoleau (lighting designer) and Eric Shimelonis (sound designer).
