Olivier Award winners Bertie Carvel and Jonny Lee Miller will return to Broadway this spring to star in James Graham's acclaimed drama Ink.

Directed by Rupert Goold, Manhattan Theatre Club's New York transfer of this Almeida Theatre production will begin performances April 2, 2019, at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Opening night is set for April 24.

Set in 1969 London, Ink is described as follows: "The brash young Rupert Murdoch purchases a struggling paper, The Sun, and sets out to make it a must-read smash which will destroy — and ultimately horrify — the competition. He brings on rogue editor Larry Lamb who in turn recruits an unlikely team of underdog reporters. Together, they will go to any lengths for success, and the race for the most ink is on!"

Carvel (Matilda) will reprise his Olivier Award-winning performance as Rupert Murdoch, which he originated in 2017 at the Almeida before transferring with the play to West End's Duke of York's Theater. Miller (Elementary) will take on the role of Larry Lamb.

Additional casting and creative team is still to be announced.
