The newly formed Stella Adler Los Angeles Theatre Collective has announced its inaugural season. The company, which is comprised of Stella Adler Los Angeles alumni, will present Timothy McNeil’s The Charm of Making (March 12 – April 25) as its first production. Milton Justice will direct the piece, which is set in a small town in Mississippi where the last living member of old Southern family attempts to reconcile his past and present.
The Collective’s season will also include a revival of Inherit the Wind, which will be produced in October, and a festival of new one act plays written by members of the group, to run November 12 – December 5. The group’s fourth offering will come in February 2011 and be the U.S. premiere of a play to be announced.
