Schmackary's will host its fifth annual Broadway Bakes May 27-31. The event will feature over 20 Broadway stars, who will join together to work behind the counter, selling cookies to customers and raising money in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Each day, from 3pm-7pm, half of the sales and all of the tips generated while the Broadway stars are working at Schmackary's will go directly to support the charitable organization.

The schedule of stars (subject to change) to appear at Broadway Bakes include Kathryn Gallagher (Jagged Little Pill) and Stephanie Styles (Kiss Me, Kate) on May 27, 3pm-5pm; Lesli Margherita (The Flamingo Kid), Wesley Taylor (Alice By Heart), and Isaac Powell (Once on This Island) on May 27, 5pm-7pm; Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice 2019 Tony nominee), Jimmy Davis (Oklahoma!), and Will Brill (Oklahoma!) on May 28, 3pm-5pm; Be More Chill''s Joe Iconis (2019 Tony nominee), Jason Sweettooth Williams, and Charlie Rosen on May 28, 5pm-7pm; Laura Osnes (Broadway Princess Party), Christy Altomare (Anastasia), and Ben Rauhala (The Secret Life of Bees) on May 29, 5pm-7pm; Frozen's Cassie Levy and Patti Murin on May 30, 3pm-5pm; Anastasia's Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill) and John Bolton on May 30, 5pm-7pm; Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's James Snyder, Jenny Jules, and Matt Mueller on May 31, 3pm-5pm; Mean Girls' Kyle Selig and Grey Henson on May 31, 5pm-7pm.

In the past, Schmackary's Broadway Bakes event has helped raise over $53,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. "Every step of the way, the backing of the theater community has helped our little cookie company grow into a huge success story," said Zachary "Schmackary" Schmahl, the owner, creator, and cookie master of Schmackary's. "So when it came time to give back, Schmackary's wanted to assist the Broadway community in any way possible. Broadway Bakes was born and the stars have come out twice now to help us give back and support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS."

Schmackary's is a "uniquely gourmet" cookie company, located in the heart of the Theater District. Schmackary's is known for its bountiful menu of rotating gourmet cookie flavors and has also been dubbed "the official cookie of Broadway" as their cookies are very popular with the Broadway community. Schmackary's also has a program online, allowing theater fans to send their favorite Broadway stars cookies along with a personal note directly to the theater.
