Bartlett, Marroquin, Ryan to Join Schneider in Broadway’s Chicago

Rob Bartlett, Bianca Marroquin, and Roz Ryan will join previously announced star John Schneider in the long-running Broadway musical Chicago, beginning on January 14. They will join current star Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly.

Bartlett, who will play Amos Hart, Marroquin, who will play Roxie Hart, and Ryan, who will play Matron “Mama” Morton, have all previously appeared int he show’s Broadway production.

Schneider, who will play Billy Flynn, starred on Broadway in Grand Hotel; his other stage credits include The Will Rogers Follies, Brigadoon, The Music Man, and Mame. He is best known for his television work, including The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, and Nip/Tuck.

Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse and a score by Edd and John Kander. It is directed by Walter Bobbie, with choreography by Ann Reinking. The show, which celebrated its 11th anniversary in November, won six Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical.
