Arthur Miller, Caryl Churchill, and More Represented in New Repertory Theatre's 2015-16 Season

Colm Tóibín’s Broadway play ”The Testament of Mary” joins the Boston company’s lineup.

Boston's New Repertory Theatre has announced eight plays joining its 2015-16 season.

Arthur Miller's Broken Glass, directed by Jim Petosa, will open the season in the Charles Mosesian Theater. Featuring Jeremiah Kissel as Phillip Gellburg, performances will run from September 5-27 with a September 9 press opening.

Caryl Churchill's A Number will then take over the Mosesian Theater and run from October 10-November 1 with an official October 12 opening. The Snow Queen will follow as the theater's holiday offering, running from November 28-December 20. Directed by Rick Lombardo, the musical features a book by Kirsten Brandt and Lombardo, music by Haddon Kime, lyrics by Brandt, Haddon Kime, and Lombardo, and additional music by Lombardo. The official opening will take place on November 30.

Next in the Black Box Theater will be David Hare's Via Dolorosa, an examination of the ideological conflict that exists between Israel and Palestine. Performances will run from January 2-31, 2016, with an official opening on January 4.

Colm Tóibín's The Testament of Mary will then run in the Black Box from January 31-February 28, 2016, with an official opening set for February 1. Directed by Jim Petosa, Paula Langton will star as the grieving Virgin Mary, mourning the recent death of her son.

The world premiere of Kirsten Greenidge's Baltimore, directed by Elaine Vaan Hogue, will then be held in March in the Boston University Theatre's Lane-Comley Studio 210. Dates will be announced at a later date.

Back in the Charles Mosesian Theater, the world premiere of Steven Yockey's Blackberry Winter will run from March 26-April 17, 2016, with an official press opening set for March 28.

Mark St. Germain's Freud’s Last Session, directed by Jim Petosa, will then close out the season in the Mosesian Theater, running from April 30-May 22, 2016. The official opening will take place on May 2.
