The American Repertory Theater in association with The Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training has announced that they will be presenting a series of shorts by Samuel Beckett as part of their 2011-2012 series. Performances of Beckett Shorts will take place at the Zero Church Performance Space, March 30-April 7. Marcus Stern will direct.
Through such classic shorts as Not I, Act Without Words and Rough for Radio I director Marcus Stern finds the beautiful in the stark, the freedom in the confines and the human in the absurd. Other Beckett shorts being performed include Come and Go, Play, Footfalls and Quad.
