The Lortel Awards honor off-Broadway theater.
Winners of the 40th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards, the only New York theater award to exclusively honor off-Broadway, were announced at a ceremony held on Sunday, May 4.
The evening’s big winner was Our Class, which took home four Lortel Awards, including Outstanding Ensemble. Shows that earned two trophies each include The Big Gay Jamboree, Here There Are Blueberries, and Table 17. Vanya, starring Andrew Scott, won Outstanding Solo Performance.
