Andrew Keenan-Bolger Premieres New Song for Crutchie From Newsies

Keenan-Bolger helped a tune by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman see its New York debut.

Newsies may have played to great acclaim on Broadway, but that doesn't mean its Tony-winning songwriters were finished tinkering with it. Alan Menken and Jack Feldman wrote a brand-new tune for the show's national tour, created for the lovable character Crutchie. And what better way to premiere it than by having the original Crutchie, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, sing it at the Newsies reunion concert at 54 Below? It's called "Letters From the Refuge," and you can watch Keenan-Bolger debut it below.
