Amanda Palmer, Scott Shepherd Set for Live Arts Bard Residency and Commissioning Program

Bard College is set to launch Live Arts Bard (LAB), a residency and commissioning program for the performing arts, in September.

The program is a partnership between the Theater and Performance Program and the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts and will be run under the leadership of Director of Theater Programs Gideon Lester. Its aim is to develop a nurturing community by providing residencies for visiting artists who will work side by side with students to generate projects and methodologies.

This year’s visiting artists will include Amanda Palmer, Annie Dorsen / Scott Shepherd, Jack Ferver, and Jànos Szàsz, with additional visiting artists to be announced later in the fall.
