George Takei takes audiences inside the making of a Broadway debut.
The third installment of George Takei's 10-part documentary series Allegiance: Trek to Broadway has been released via the actor's Facebook page. The series follows Allegiance — a new musical based on Takei's upbringing in a Japanese internment camp — as it approaches its debut on the Great White Way. In episode 3, we learn about the significance of the show's logo, which makes its way to the Broadway marquee, as well as the history behind one of the show's signature tunes. Takei also offers insight into the childhood that inspired his upcoming Broadway debut.
