
Singer Alexis Gershwin will perform her show, Gershwin Sings Gershwin, at 3pm on Sunday, February 14 at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center and 3pm on Sunday, February 21 the Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center. She will be joined by the Gershwin Singers and the Harry James Tribute Orchestra. The show’s musical director is Steven Applegate.
The show will include new arrangements of more than 20 songs written by her uncles, George and Ira Gershwin, including “A Foggy Day,” “The Man That Got Away,” “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “Embraceable You,” “I Can’t Get Started,” “I’ve Got A Crush On You,” and “Our Love Is Here To Stay.”
