Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Goodspeed Opera House’s production of the Larry Gelbart-Burt Shevlove-Stephen Sondheim musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, to run September 25-November 29. The production, which will open officially on October 21, will be directed by Ted Pappas.
The cast will feature Adam Heller as Pseudolos, John Schrer as Hysterium, Sam Pinkleton as Hero, Emily Thompson as Philia, David Wohl as Senex, Ron Wisniski as Marcus Lycus, Mary Gutzi as Domina, Mark Baker as Erronius, and Nat Chandler as Miles Gloriosus, along with Jason Babinsky, Kurt Domoney, Semhar Ghebremichael, Laura Kellner, Kara Kimmer, Steve Konopelski, Stephanie Lynn Nelson, Abbey O’Brien, Krista Saab, Michael Biren and Emily Susanne Franklin.
The creative team includes scenic designer James Noone, costume designer Martha Bromelmeier, lighting designer Kirk Bookman, music director Michael O’Flaherty, and orchestrator Dan DeLange.
