A New Brain Celebrates Cast Album Release at Sardi's

The Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain, which ran from June 24-27, 2015, at New York City Center, celebrated the release of the musical's new cast album last night at Sardi's restaurant.

Inspired by Finn's personal experiences, A New Brain follows struggling composer Gordon Michael Schwinn (Groff) as he examines his life after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Produced by Jeffrey Lesser, the complete two-disc recording features Jonathan Groff, Ana Gasteyer, and the rest of the Encores! company. The cast also includes Tony winner Dan Fogler, Aaron Lazar, Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Josh Lamon, Alyse Alan Louis, and Rema Webb.
