Larry Yando stars in the stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ seminal tale.
Performances have begun for Chicago's Goodman Theatre production of A Christmas Carol, now in its 38th year at the venue.
Adapted from Charles Dickens' novel by Tom Creamer, the production is directed by Henry Wishcamper. Larry Yando leads the company of 25 as Scrooge, with Ron E. Rains as Bob Cratchit. Also starring are Theo Allyn, Justin Amoisch, Kareem Bandealy, Nathaniel Buescher, Andrew Coll, Paige Collins, Phillip Cusic, Lisa Gay Dixon, Joe Foust, Allen Gilmore, Anish Jethmalani, Travis Knight, Aaron Lamm, J. Salome Martinez, Larry Neumman Jr., Malcolm Ruhl, Madeline Ruhl, Amaris Sanchez, Kim Schultz, Skye Sparks, Brett Tuomi, Kristina Valda-Viars, and Penelope Walker.
The creative team includes Todd Rosenthal (set design), Heidi Sue McMath (costume design), Andrew Hansen (composer), Richard Woodbury (sound designer), Malcolm Ruhl (musical director), Keith Parham (lighting designer), and Tommy Rapley (choreographer).
Performances began November 14 and will continue through the holiday season. The run concludes December 27.
