Paper Mill Playhouse has announced its 2012-2013 season, featuring four musicals, and one play.
The season includes A Chorus Line (October 3r-28t), which has a book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban. Next, Paper Mill will present The Sound of Music (November 23-December 30), with music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse.
In 2013, Lend Me A Tenor, by Ken Ludwig, will run February 13-March 10 and Thoroughly Modern Millie will run from April 10-May 5. The latter has a book by Richard Morris and Dick Scanlan, music by Jeanine Tesori, with lyrics by Dick Scanlan. The season will conclude with Disney’s The Little Mermaid (May 29-June 30) which has a book by Doug Wright, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater and Howard Ashman.
