Producers Ken Davenport and Bob Gaudio have announced a multi-year North American tour of A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond Musical, which is currently playing Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre.

The tour will conduct technical rehearsals and launch at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, in the fall of 2024. The producers intend for the show to play over 25 cities in its first year. Exact dates and stops have not been revealed, but eager fans can follow developments here.

A bio-musical about the popular recording artist Neil Diamond, A Beautiful Noise takes the form of a therapy session in which a therapist attempts to get at the root of Diamond's neuroses by examining a large book of his lyrics. Songs like "I'm a Believer," "Forever in Blue Jeans," and (of course) "Sweet Caroline" play out against the story of Diamond's life.

A Beautiful Noise features a book by four-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten, direction by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, and choreography by Olivier Award winner and four-time Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett.

In his review for TheaterMania, critic David Gordon observed, "The AARP crowd will love it." You can read his full review of the Broadway production of A Beautiful Noise here.
