Japanese pop singer Shingo Katrori will star in the world premiere of the new musical Talk Like Singing, by Koki Mitani and Yasharu Konishi, to run November 12-22 at the NYU Skirball Center. The production will be directed by Mitani.
The show focuses on a young man who can only communicate through singing, who eventually draws the attention of a speech therapist and a psychologist who cure his condition. It will co-star Jay Kabira, Keiko Hortuchi, and Shinya Niro.
