Roman Polanski’s Carnage to Open New York Film Festival

Roman Polanski’s new movie Carnage, a film version of Yasmina Reza’s play God of Carnage, will have its North American premiere at the opening gala of the 49th annual New York Film Festival (NYFF) on September 30, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The NYFF will continue through October 16.

Carnage stars Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly, Christoph Waltz, and Kate Winslet and centers on two sets of parents who meet after their sons are involved in a schoolyard fight. As previously announced, the film will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
