Vicki Lewis will appear in the world premiere production of Hotel C’est L’Amour, conceived and directed by Daniel Henning and featuring the songs of Michael John LaChiusa. The show will play in Los Angeles at the Blank Theatre’s 2nd Stage, September 26-November 5, with an official opening slated for September 30.

Hotel C’est L’Amour focuses on a newly married couple in a posh, ultra-modern hotel; they encounter jealous ghosts, seductive demons, and sometimes dangerous flotsam from their lives as they prepare to spend their first night as man and wife. The show’s songs are drawn from many of LaChiusa’s shows, including First Lady Suite, The Wild Party, See What I Wanna See, and Hello Again.

Also in the cast are Rick Corenette, Daren A. Hebert, Jennifer Malenke, and America Olivia. The creative team includes Kurtis Bedford (sets), Sherry Linnell (costumes), Ellen Monocroussos (lighting), and Christy Crowl (musical direction).
Former E.R. star Noah Wyle is among the show’s producers.

Lewis has starred on Broadway in Chicago and Damn Yankees, and has appeared in numerous musical productions in Los Angeles. Best known for her role on the hit sitcom NewsRadio, she is currently co-starring in the Reprise! Broadway’s Best production of My One and Only.
