Jacob A. Ware, Aurora Black, Peter Hart, and More to Join The Life & Death of Kenyon Phillips at Joe's Pub

Full casting has been announced for The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips when it returns to Joe's Pub on October 24. Author, playwright, and actress Najla Said will direct the autobiographical rock opera.

The Life & Death of Kenyon Phillips uses an interactive rock-cabaret-variety-show format to tell the story of one colorful New Yorker's life and eventual death.

The cast will feature the previously announced Michael Musto, Rachel Ticotin (Man on Fire) and Brad Calcaterra (Gotham), as well as Jacob A. Ware (Boardwalk Empire), Aurora Black, Peter Hart, Kelsey Strauch, Robert W. Smith, Justin Sams, Nancy Cantine, Roxie Valdez, Lola Carter, Carolyn Chiu, Chris Comfort, Eric Miranda, and Vanessa Walters.

Phillips is a singer, songwriter, actor, writer, model, dancer, and DJ. In addition to founding and fronting the bands Roma!, Unisex Salon, and Thrill A Minute, Kenyon has written and produced songs for Amy Poehler, Joey Arias, Raven O, and Sherry Vine. Backed by his all-girl band The Ladies In Waiting, Kenyon regularly performs at Joe's Pub. His debut solo EP Fire in the Hole was released in September 2013.
