Michael Gladis, Craig "muMs" Grant, Jason Butler Harner, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Sisto, David Strathairn et al. Set for LAByrinth Reading Series

Casting has been announced for LAByrinth Theater Company’s 11th Annual Barn Reading Series, a festival of staged readings highlighting 14 new plays at The Cherry Pit, November 29-December 21.

Works will include Channel, by John Jiler, directed by Brian Roff, and featuring Charles Goforth and Ron Cephas Jones; Marcy Comes Home, by Adam Bock, directed by Trip Cullman, with Vanessa Aspillaga, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Zack Booth, Ari Graynor, Jason Butler Harner, Linda Larkin, and Maulik Pancholy; If You Love Me, by Lyle Kessler, directed by Lola Glaudini, and featuring Elizabeth Rodriguez and Yul Vazquez; You Are Here, by Melissa Ross, directed by Mimi O’Donnell, with Max Casella, Sarah Nina Hayon, Jennifer Mudge, and Amanda Perez; and The Bends, by Megan Mostyn-Brown, directed by Josh Hecht with Jeff Biehl, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Michael Gladis, Sarah Nina Hayon, Greg Keller, and Alexa Scott-Flaherty.

The series will also include Oh, The Power, by David Bar Katz, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, and featuring Tina Benko, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Jeffrey Horwitz, Joseph Parks, Ed Vassallo, and Yul Vazquez; Rivers Of January, by Ben Snyder, directed by Stephen Adly Guirgis with cast to be announcesd; Heal Me Television, by Martha Wollner, directed by Kevin Geer, with Japhet Balaban, Elizabeth Canavan, Scout Cook, Andrea Haring, Scott Hudson, Russell G. Jones, Florencia Lozano, Kelley Rae O’Donnell, Richard Petrocelli, Yolonda Ross, Finnerty Steeves, and Sidney Williams; The Walking Game, by Daniel Harnett, directed by Padraic Lillis, with Scout Cook, Kevin Geer, Charles Goforth, and Marshall Sharer; and Utilities, by Jonathan Marc Sherman, directed by David Bar Katz, and featuring Didi O’Connell, Annie Parisse, Yul Vazquez, and Frank Whaley.

Also included will be New Short Plays, by Israel Horovitz, directed by Horovitz and Scott Illingworth and featuring Scout Cook, Jeremy Sisto, and Francisco Solorzano; They Killed Boo Boo?, by Maggie Bofill, directed by Jill DeArmon, with Carlo Alban, Raul Castillo, Adam Cohen, Angela Lewis, Paula Pizzi, and Yolonda Ross; A Family For All Occasions, by Bob Glaudini, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, with Lex Friedman, Craig “muMs” Grant, Didi O’Connell, Charlie Saxton, and David Strathairn; and two untitled works in progress, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, with cast to be announced.
