Neil LaBute's The Way We Get By will make its off-Broadway world premiere at Second Stage Theatre in May. The brand-new two-hander will feature Golden Globe-nominated Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, in her New York stage debut, and The Newsroom star Thomas Sadoski, who earned a Tony nomination for his performance in LaBute's Reasons to Be Pretty in 2009. Tony nominee Leigh Silverman (Violet) will direct.

Maslany and Sadoski star as Beth and Doug, who share an awkward encounter after spending a drunken night together. Waking up to a blurry morning, they wonder how much they really know about each other and how much they really care about what other people think.

The creative team will feature set design by Neil Patel, lighting design by Matthew Frey, and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff. The production's costume designer will be announced at a later date.

Performances are scheduled to begin May 12.
