Julianne Nicholson, Darren Pettie, Eisa Davis, et al. Set for This at Playwrights Horizons

Julianne Nicholson and Darren Pettie have joined the cast of Melissa James Gibson’s This, to run November 6 – December 13 at Playwrights Horizons. Nicholson, known for her work on television’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent, is stepping into the role that was to have been played by Parker Posey, who withdrew from the production for health reasons.

Obie Award-winner Daniel Aukin will direct the “un-romantic comedy” that focuses on a woman entering her forties. As previously announced, the cast also features Eisa Davis, Glenn Fitzgerald, and Louis Cancelmi.

The creative team includes Louisa Thompson (scenic design), Maiko Matsushima (costume design), Matt Frey (lighting design), Matt Tierney (sound design). Composer Peter Eldridge will provide additional music.
