John Goodman, Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Stark Sands to Star in Joel and Ethan Coen’s Inside Llewyn Davis

Updated casting has been announced for Joel and Ethan Coen’s new film Inside Llewyn Davis, which focuses on the early folk music scene in Greenwich Village in the 1960s, according to Deadline.com.


The film will feature stage veterans John Goodman, Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, and Stark Sands, along with film and recording star Justin Timberlake.


Joel and Ethan Coen won Academy Awards for writing and directing No Country for Old Men, which was also named Best Picture. Their many other films include A Serious Man, Fargo, Barton Fink and The Big Lebowski.

Ethan Coen is also the author of the one-act Talking Cure, which is part of the current Broadway production Relatively Speaking. His collections of one-acts Happy Hour will be produced this season by The Atlantic Theater Company, and he has previously written numerous one-act plays.
