Susan Blackwell and More Join Cleveland Musical Theatre's Into the Woods Concert

More casting has been announced for Cleveland Musical Theatre's one-night-only concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into the Woods, taking place on Monday, July 8, at Town Hall.

Newly announced for the evening are Pamela Myers as Jack's Mother, Lee Wilkof as Mysterious Man, Kaley Ann Voorhees as Rapunzel, Timothy Warmen as Cinderella's Father, Tee Boyich as Lucinda, and Susan Blackwell as the voice of the Giant.

They join Alice Ripley as the Witch, with Tony Yazbeck as the Baker, Kate Shindle as the Baker's Wife, Betsy Wolfe as Cinderella, Caitlin Houlahan as Little Red, Jordan Matthew Brown as Jack, John Riddle as Cinderella's Prince, Zach Adkins as Rapunzel's Prince, Antoinette Comer as Florinda, Matt Bogart as the Wolf, and Melvin Tunstall III as the Steward.
Aligned with the mission of Cleveland Musical Theatre, the company of Into the Woods will be joined by a chorus of breakout Cleveland talent and a live orchestra. Proceeds will benefit important professional opportunities and educational initiatives for emerging artists at Cleveland Musical Theatre.

Cleveland Musical Theatre artistic director Miles J. Sternfeld will direct, with music supervision by Michael J. Moritz. The rest of the creative team will include Martin Céspedes (choreography), Gabriel Firestone (scenic design), Sydney Gallas (costume design), Zach Blane (lighting design), Patrick La Chance (sound design), and Robbie Amodeo (hair and makeup design).
