Giurgis to Appear in LAByrinth’s ‘A’ Train, Dunn and Miller to Star in Sweet Storm

LAByrinth Theatre Company will present a one-night benefit performance of Stephen Adly Giurgis’ Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, starring the author and original cast members Elizabeth Canavan, Salvatore Inzerillo, Ron Cephas Jones, and John Ortiz, at Town Hall at 7pm on Sunday, June 22. The reading will be directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The company is also currently presenting a play reading series at the Public Theater, which includes Penalties & Interest by Rebecca Cohen, directed by John Gould Rubin (through June 28) and will be presenting Sweet Storm by Scott Hudson, directed by Padraic Lillis (June 20-21), starring Jamie Dunn and Eric T. Miller. The creative team will include Martin Andrew (scenic design), Lea Umberger (costume design), Sarah Sidman (lighting design), and Betsy Rhodes (sound design).
