Gigi Naglak and Meghann Williams’ Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque to Play Los Kabayitos Theater

Ying Le is set to present Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque, May 14-20 at Los Kabayitos Theater.

Chlamydia dell’Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque is Gigi Naglak and Meghann Williams’ traditional re-interpretation of a classic burlesque show, involving scenes that range from Shakespeare’s famous balcony scene reimagined as a scene about masturbation to a sexy striptease about STDs.

Gigi Naglak and Meghann Williams are founding members of the Philadelphia-based Flashpoint Theatre Company. Naglak has performed at venues such as Allens Lane, Tribe of Fools, and Delaware Theatre Company. Williams served as Assistant Director for Blackbird at Theatre Exile and for Karen Getz’s Disco Descending in the 2008 Live Arts Festival in Philadelphia.

The design team includes John Glaubitz (original music and sound design), Evan Roby (lighting design), and Meghann Williams (video and puppetry design).
