Cloris Leachman, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Guy Pearce, et al. Set for Mis-Fits Movie

Cloris Leachman, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Guy Pearce, Seymour Cassel, and Virginie Ledoyen have been cast in the movie Mis-Fits. L.D. Napier has written the screenplay and will direct the film, which focuses on a “necro-detective” who goes in search of people’s lost, dead relatives.

Leachman, who is currently starring on the FOX series Raising Hope, appeared on Broadway in South Pacific, A Story for a Sunday Evening and The Crucible. She won the Oscar for The Last Picture Show and is well known for her work in such movies as Young Frankenstein. She has won numerous Emmy Awards for her many television roles, including Phyllis Lindstrom on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Phyllis.

Moreno was recently seen Off-Broadway in The Starry Messenger. She received an Oscar nomination for Maria Full of Grace, and her other film credits include The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Fast Food Nation, and Love in the Time of Cholera.
