The three-character play focuses on what happens to Judy (Robins) when her 20-year-old marriage crashes and burns. Haunted by her alternately brutal and tender ex-husband Jack (Camp), a police inspector, and experimenting with booze, drugs, and sex with her new, much younger roommate Sally (Zinner), a telephone receptionist, Judy begins a riveting trajectory. Brenton's other plays include Christie in Love, Pravda, and Paul.
The show's creative team includes Adam Stockhausen (sets), Katherine Roth (costumes), Don Holder (lighting), and Mike Yionoulis (sound design). Evan Yianoulis' previous credits include the Broadway production of The Violet Hour and The Manhattan Theatre Club production of Three Days of Rain.
Camp has starred on Broadway in Jackie and Saint Joan, and has appeared Off-Broadway in Homebody/Kabul (for which he won an Obie Award) and Measure for Measure. Robins' Off-Broadway credits include Frozen, The Real Thing, and The Herbal Bed. Zinner is a Chicago-based actress, who has appeared in the film Erin Brockovich.
