The Vineyard Theatre's upcoming production of Billy & Ray, directed by television legend Garry Marshall (Happy Days, The Odd Couple), has announced an extension for its off-Broadway run. Set to begin performances October 2 and open October 20, the production will now run an additional two weeks, through November 23.

Written by Mike Bencivenga, the play is a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of Double Indemnity in 1944 and the frequent conflicts between director Billy Wilder (Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser) and star Raymond Chandler, played by Larry Pine (Casa Valentina). The company also includes Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys) and Sophie von Haselberg (The Cat and the Canary).

Marshall returns to the play after directing its world premiere in 2013 at the Falcon Theater in Los Angeles.
