Be More Chill Tony Nominee Joe Iconis Named 2019 Honorary Chair of NYMF

Tony nominee Joe Iconis (Be More Chill) will serve as honorary chair of the 2019 New York Musical Festival, set to take place July 8-August 4.

An alum of the festival, Iconis is also the composer of Broadway Bounty Hunter, set to play off-Broadway this summer, and Love in Hate Nation, which will debut this fall at Two River Theater. Be More Chill is currently running on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre.

Now in its 16th year, the 2019 festival will present shows at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center, readings at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Rehearsal Studio, and concerts at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.
