Broadway vets Mo Brady (The Addams Family) and Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago) have released the third episode of their podcast series, The Ensemblist, available via iTunes.

The Ensemblist offers Broadway fans an exclusive look at the inner workings of Broadway theater, particularly the contributions made by the unsung heroes of the ensemble. This newest 25-minute installment, entitled “Swings,” features Broadway performers Sara Andreas (Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde on tour), Christopher Rice (The Book of Mormon, West Side Story on tour), Samantha Shafer (South Pacific, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), and Clay Thomson (Newsies, Matilda), who speak about what it’s like keeping track of the numerous roles they are asked to cover as a swing. Rice recalls the horrifying experience of forgetting which track he was performing mid-number while Andreas shares memories of her first time going on during the tour of Legally Blonde.

New episodes of The Ensemblist are released every two weeks and can be downloaded on iTunes. Episodes can also be downloaded directly from Podbean here.
