Ann Harada, Anika Larsen, Robert McClure, Danielle K. Thomas to Join Broadway’s Avenue Q July 6

Original cast member Ann Harada will return to the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Avenue Q, currently at the John Golden Theatre, beginning July 6. On that same date, Robert McClure will assume the roles of Princeton/Rod, along with Anika Larsen as Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut, and Danielle K. Thomas as Gary Coleman.

Directed by Jason Moore, Avenue Q is a musical about 20-somethings who move to the city with big dreams and tiny bank accounts. It features music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and a book by Jeff Whitty based on an original concept by Lopez and Marx.

Harada originated the role of Christmas Eve, and is currently appearing on Broadway in 9 to 5. McClure previously played Nicky/Trekkie Monster on Broadway, and played Princeton/Rod on the national tour. Larsen’s prior Broadway credits include Xanadu, All Shook Up, and Rent; she also played her roles on the Avenue Q national tour. Thomas has appeared in tours of Seussical, Big River, Little Shop of Horrors, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

The company will also continue to feature current cast members Christian Anderson, Jennifer Barnhart, and Nicholas Kohn.
