American Airlines has announced a three-year renewal of its relationship with Roundabout Theatre Company for the American Airlines Theatre. As part of the companies’ agreement, the venue will retain the name it has had for the past ten years.

Currently, a revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession is playing at the theater. Directed by Doug Hughes, the production stars Cherry Jones in the title role, along with Sally Hawkins, Adam Driver, Mark Harelik, Edward Hibbert, and Michael Siberry. The production is scheduled to open on October 3 and continue its limited engagement through November 21.

Roundabout Theater Company also plans to present Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, co-starring and directed by Brian Bedford, at the theater, with previews beginning December 20 in anticipation of an official opening on January 13.

In celebration of the continued relationship, American Airlines is running a sweepstakes that will reward one winner with a New York vacation package, featuring round-trip air transportation to New York, exclusive tickets to a show at the American Airlines Theatre, hotel accommodations and dinner for two at Aureole.
