Terry Layman to Now Play Juror 9 in George Street Playhouse’s Twelve Angry Men

Terry Layman will now play Juror 9 in George Street Playhouse‘s production of Twelve Angry Men instead of the previously reported David Canary, who is unable to do the role due to a family emergency. Canary was himself supposed to have stepped in for Jack Klugman, who withdrew due to illness. The production runs March 13-April 8.

Twelve Angry Men centers on a jury’s fierce deliberations after hearing evidence in the trial of a young man accused of first degree murder for killing his own father.


The cast also features In addition to Canary, the cast features Jim Bracchitta, David Adkins, Lee Sellars, David Schramm, Jonathan Hadary, John Bolger, Gregg Edelman, Scott Drummond, James Rebhorn, Michael Sirow, Jonathan C. Kaplan, and Andrew Nogasky.

Layman was the understudy for the late Tom Aldredge in the Broadway production of Twelve Angry Men, and performed his role many times. Additional Broadway credits include Proof, The Ride Down Mount Morgan, and The Rehearsal.
