Carbonell Award-winner Tom Wahl will star in Zoetic Stage and The Adrienne Arsht Center’s production of Doug Wright’s I Am My Own Wife, running October 4-21 at the Carnival Studio Theatre.Zoetic artistic director Stuart Meltzer helms the work, the true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, who survived the the regimes of the Nazis and Communists in East Berlin as a transgendered person. Wright’s play won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, as well as the Tony Award for Best Play.
The creative team includes Michael McKeever (scenic design), Luke Klingberg (lighting design), Albert Arroyo (costume design), Jodi Dellaventura (props), and Stuart Meltzer (sound design).
