Dedication of Bob and Dolores Hope Square to Be Held February 27

Los Angeles Council member Tom LaBonge will dedicate a square in honor of long-time Toluca Lake Residents Bob and Dolores Hope on Monday, February 27 at 9am. Linda Hope will be on hand for the dedication of the square to her parents, and the ceremony is open to the public.

The Bob and Dolores Hope Square is located at the southwest intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Moorpark Street in the Toluca Lake area of Los Angeles, just outside the St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Bob Hope’s Broadway credits include Roberta, Ziegfeld Follies of 1936, and Red, Hot, and Blue. In addition to his theater work, Hope was beloved for his long career in film and television, and especially for entertaining U.S. troops overseas for many decades.
