Cast, Creative Team Set for L.A. Premiere of Red, Hot and Blue!

By George Productions has announced cast and creative team information for the Los Angeles premiere of Cole Porter’s 1936 musical, Red, Hot and Blue!, to play the Whitefire Theatre, May 29-July 5. Joe Joyce will direct and choreograph.

Featuring a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, this Depression-era screwball comedy deals with a National Lottery offering a first prize to anyone who finds a long-lost love with a rare identification mark.

The cast will include Nadia Ahern, Tiffanny-Marie Austin, Robyn S. Clark, Christina Dohmen, Richard Horvitz, Kyle Nudo, Sandra Purpuro, Matthew Reis, Nikki Tomlinson, Tom Walz, and Allyson Turner as “Nails” O’Reilly Duquesne. The creative team will include Brian O’Halloran (musical director), Stephen Gifford (scenic designer), A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (costume designer), and Jeremy Pivnick (lighting designer).
