Cast Announced for Murray Mednick’s The Fool and the Red Queen

Padua Playwrights has announced casting for its upcoming production of Murray Mednick’s The Fool and the Red Queen, to run May 18-June 24 at the Lounge Theatre as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Directed by Mednick and Guy Zimmerman, the play blends human nature and theater as Gary, an unsuccessful actor, finds himself at an audition where the audience can use the magic of theater to create new realities.

The cast of The Fool and the Red Queen will include Peggy A. Blow, Bill Celentano, John Diehl, Jack Kehler, Gray Palmer, and Julia Prud’homme.

The creative team features Jeffrey Atherton (scenic design), Matt Richter (lighting design), Ann Closs-Farley (costume design), John Zalewski (sound design), and Brad L. Cooper (cinematographer). The production is produced by Raquel Lehrman and Theatre Planners.
