Full Cast Announced for TUTS’ Cabaret, Starring Leslie Kritzer

Full casting has been announced for Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars’ production of the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Joe Masteroff musical Cabaret, to play the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, June 16-28. Bill Berry will direct, with choreography by Bob Richard.

As previously announced, the cast will be headed by Leslie Kritzer as Sally Bowles, Leo Ash Evens as the Emcee, and Tyler Hanes as Cliff Bradshaw. Also starring are Allen Fitzpatrick as Herr Schultz, Suzy Hunt as Fraulien Schneider, Angie Louise as Fraulien Kost and Mike McGowan as Ernst Ludwig. Rounding out the cast are David Alewine, Tommy Berklund, Emilee Dupre, Tim Hausmann, Tony Johnson, Freddie Kimmel, Carlynn Laurie, Jeremy Leiner, Kate Marilley, Maya Perkins, Troy L. Wageman, Kristin Warren, Paige Wheat, and Dana Winkle. The teen chorus, made up of members of The Academy at TUTS’ Humphreys School of Musical Theatre, will include Chris Canal, Storey Hinojosa, Johnathan Luna, and Betty Marie Muessig.

Kritzer recently starred in the Off-Broadway musical Rooms. Her Broadway credits include A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde, for which she won the Clarence Derwent Award, and Hairspray. Evens starred as Riff in TUTS’ production of West Side Story. Hanes is best known for his portrayal of Larry in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line.
