Full Casting Announced for Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed at Yale Rep

Full cast and creative team have been announced for Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed at Yale Repertory Theatre, October 24-November 14. Liesl Tommy will direct the production.

Set in 2003, the play explores consequences and fallout of Liberia’s civil war for the “wives” of a rebel commanding officer from a community in a hostile war zone. The play has had previous productions at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, the McCarter Theatre, and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre.

The company will feature Pascale Armand, Zainab Jah, Adepero Oduye, Stacey Sargeant, and Shona Tucker. The creative team will include Germán Cárdenas Alaminos (scenic design), Elizabeth Barrett Groth (costume design), Marcus Doshi (lighting design), and The Broken Chord Collective (sound design).
