Teagle F. Bougere, Billy Eugene Jones, et al. Set for Goodman’s The Good Negro

Karen Aldridge, Teagle F. Bougere, Tory O. Davis, John Hoogenakker, Billy Eugene Jones, Nambi Kelley, Demetrios Troy, Dan Waller, and Mick Weber will star in the Goodman Theatre production of Tracey Scott Wilson’s The Good Negro, to run May 1-June 6. Chuck Smith will direct.

Set during the 1960s American Civil Rights Movement, tensions build in the increasingly hostile South as a trio of emerging black leaders attempts to conquer their individual demons amid death threats from the Ku Klux Klan and wire taps by the FBI.
