Stage vets Harris Yulin (The Trip to Bountiful) and Mary Beth Fisher (Luna Gale) will lead the cast of the Court Theatre's upcoming production of Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night. David Auburn (Proof) directs the work, which runs from March 10-April 10 in Chicago.

Yulin will play aging actor patriarch James Tyrone alongside Fisher as his morphine-addicted wife, Mary. The cast will also include Michael Doonan as Edmund Tyrone, Dan Waller as James Tyrone Jr., and Alanna Rogers as Cathleen.

The Court Theatre describes the play as follows: "A paragon of the American dream, James Tyrone, his wife Mary, and their two grown sons live together in their summer home in Connecticut. Beneath the shiny veneer of the Tyrone family’s success, however, something is deeply and irreversibly amiss. As a once bright morning fades slowly into a dreary fog of evening, the characters crash together and pull apart inside a web of long-held suffering, buried secrets, and unspoken trauma."
